Staying Grounded, Energized & Aligned Through the Season

Women's Wellness Retreat March 2026:

Hi Friends,

The holiday season can be beautiful… and overwhelming. Between family dynamics, travel, food temptations, disrupted routines, and emotional triggers, it’s easy to lose yourself in the swirl of obligations.

This year, I want you to feel strong, centered, and intentional — not depleted.

Here’s your 2025 Holiday Survival Guide to help you protect your energy, nourish your body, and stay connected to what you need most.

1. Create Your “Non-Negotiables” List

Before the season kicks into full gear, choose three things you will not compromise on:

A nourishing breakfast with protein every morning

A 10-minute walk after dinner

Being in bed by 10:30 — even during holiday week

These small anchors keep your nervous system steady when everything else feels chaotic.

2. Eat With Intention, Not Restriction

Holidays aren’t the enemy — mindlessness is. Here are a few strategies I teach my clients:

Start with protein to steady blood sugar

Choose your indulgence (not every indulgence)

Never arrive starving

Hydrate throughout the day

This is how you enjoy the season without losing yourself in it.

3. Protect Your Emotional Energy

You don’t have to absorb everyone else’s stress, opinions, or chaos.

Try this:

Before entering a gathering, ask yourself, “How do I want to feel when I leave?”

Limit draining conversations

Give yourself permission to take space or leave early

Your peace matters.

4. Move Your Body — Consistently

This season isn’t about perfection. It is about consistency.

20–30 minutes of walking

Light weights

Stretching

Pilates or yoga

Small, steady movement keeps your mood lifted, joints happy, and metabolism humming.

5. Don’t Let the Season Hijack Your Stress Levels

A few grounding practices go a long way:

4-7-8 breathing technique

A 5-minute meditation before bed

A sentence of morning journaling:

“Today I will protect my energy by…”

Your nervous system notices every act of self-care — even the small ones.

6. Remember: Holidays Are a Chapter, Not a Lifetime

Enjoy. Be present. Savor.

One meal won’t derail you.

One missed workout won’t undo anything.

It’s your overall pattern, not a single moment, that moves you forward.
